As sick as Ice Cube (and his extremely low expectations of what constitutes a good day) is, I never thought I'd be posting about him on Night Tracks. That was until the Romanian with an ear for a remix, Empt, came along and added his touch to it, burying the vocals in reverb and fuzz, the falling shells and reloads a nod to the source of the sample, contrasted with the dreamy synths floating over the whole track.
Anyone that heard his take on Trim's Notice Now should know that Empt doesn't do remixes by halves, preferring to completely turn the original on its head, and this is no different.
