Check this snippet from Isola Dusk, a Bristol-based band that can combine ethereal, shoegazey vocals with breaky, dark garage instrumentals with ease. This one sits somewhere between William Basinski and The xx, a tune just long enough to impose itself on your memory, but short enough to leave you wanting more (or in my case, to loop it twenty plus times).
It's worth checking out Isola Dusk, a band that continue to sound fresh despite taking influence from scenes that largely started to turn stale some time ago.
