Free Downloads Rule Everything Around Me...

A quick update on a couple of free downloads for you to grab.

First up, we've got the second tune Endless Plains Records have released from their forthcoming compilation, this one Bruised by Manchester's Atsubox.

On top of that, Night Tracks' fave Gasface has teamed up with the Canadian producer Temporal for a free tune, MMXIII.

Enjoy.

(AMORE002) Sangam - Codes/Stygian

Check this for a Night Tracks bonanza. Not only is this a release for my bro Sangam, but it's backed with remixes from my bros Retral & Gasface, and all round sick release from Soulstep Records sister label, Con Amore.

SAY WHAAAT.

The title track, Codes, sees Sangam put his spin on autonomic style DnB, which fans of Venture will appreciate. I've been rinsing this one for some months now, so you'll already know it if you've caught any of my mixes.

It's backed with a couple of remixes of Sangam's original, Stygian. Retral takes the positive vibes of the original, and adds a tight garage swing, with some sublime vocal cuts, whilst Gasface flips the original on its head so drastically that I was shocked to discover he didn't use anything but the stems of the original to create a bleak, stark remake.

You can grab this on Juno now.

(NT006) Module Module & Gasface - Spoken Horizon

Night Tracks' seventh release, a three track, cross-Atlantic collaboration from Module Module & Gasface finally drops on Monday.

The first track, "Goodbye" sees the two producers join forces on an effort that bears the hallmark of both producers, the lush atmospheres and spectral melodies of Module and Gasface's deep, knocking percussion. The second and third tracks are individual efforts from Gasface and Module respectively, titled "Afterlife", a track that takes the eeriness to the next level, and "When I Look", featuring the vocalist Sissy, which has simply the best intro I've heard on any track for quite some time.

The whole EP has been getting a lot of plays from the likes of Mirror State and Ting amongst others (out to those that have been playing it), and you can get your hands on it soon.

Check out the previews below, and head over to our Bandcamp page where it's available for just £1.75 (and can be pre-ordered now).

The track is also available at Juno, JunoDownload and Chemical Records. Sincere thanks to anybody that helps us continue by purchasing the release.

See You Around...

Night Tracks is going on holiday until May 30th, so find your own damn music! Jokes, I'll be back as soon as possible, but until then, Night Tracks extraordinaire and all round don Gasface has very generously chosen to give you ANOTHER free tune. Major thanks to Jerms!

Check it out, the very aptly named, "See You Around..."

Thanks to Taavi for the artwork! Click here or on the artwork for the download...

Speak soon goons and goblins, I've got a guest mix on Ting's show on Rood.FM on Thursday 24th at 4pm (GMT +1) and if all goes to plan and Blogger's scheduler works, you'll have a special treat mid-week, courtesy of Sipp...

Delete

I was recently contacted, and offered a tune as a potential give-away. The tune was by Delete and Gasface (who we interviewed recently) so naturally, I took them up on their offer immediately. I managed to score a pretty sweet interview with Delete too, to add a bit of meat to the delicious, delicious bones provided by the free track, 'Pulcinella's Secret'...

NT: Hi, can you give us an introduction to Delete?
D:
Hi.
I produce experimental electronic music under the name of Delete.
Was born and still live in a small Russian town near Moscow.

Gasface

Today we're lucky enough to get the producer Gasface in for a few words, and it makes for interesting reading. Not only that, you're even luckier as he's kindly given away a free exclusive tune, 'The Hemingway', a slower-than-usual, incredibly deep roller with Gasface's trademark bass pressure, which you can grab at the end.

NT: Hey man, can we get an introduction for those that don't know Gasface yet?
G:
Hi guys, my names Jermaine, I'm from London and I'm 29 years young, I produce Future Garage under the name of GASFACE.

A Recommendation: Various Artists - Deep Lane (Square Harmony)

Square Harmony, a Russian based label, have compiled a series of tracks from artists that are right up Night Tracks' alley with their Deep Lane release.

Including tracks from the likes of Klatu, Gasface, EPLP, Essay, Detz, Delete, Stiver, Sotus, Ghostek, Depth, Kontigo, Fedbymachines and Module Module, they've managed to put together a compilation that I know will be in my top releases of the year come December.

The 15 track release is packed full of dark, shuffling garage-y gems that flow really well into each other, and aside from some of the more familiar names on there, it forms a list of producers that you should certainly keep an eye out for.

Check out the previews below, and bag it here from Monday 13th February.
