The ever mysterious Coventry based producer Ghost Ark has just dropped a self-released EP, Sunset Over Cape Town, on his Bandcamp page as a free download.
Maybe it's just the imagery from the cover art, or maybe it's just the weather recently, but I feel like the pads and glistening keys are more suited to a hazy, summer night than that of a cold, dark winter. Not sure if that's intentional, but I guess that's the beauty of music.
For me, the dreamy closing track "Last Night" is a highlight, it's the pinnacle of this piece that sees Ghost Ark move away from the more straight up dubstep inspired work we've seen from him recently.
